John Donato: Marketing Director/ Renewable Energy Consultant

John plays multiple roles in strategic marketing, solar and wind power, and energy consulting.
 

A University of Maryland graduate, John comes to Flexera with over two decades of strategic marketing and customer service planning, sustainable energy research, and sustainable community development including solar power, wind energy and energy efficiency.
 

In the past John has also directed enterprise-wide marketing, sales and training programs for large commercial real estate investment firms, community planners, hotel operators, land developers and product manufacturing firms in Delaware, Maryland, DC and New Jersey.  With Flexera, John’s ability to clearly identify and communicate valuable product and service offerings provides a key role in helping investors identify and realize energy savings through comprehensive energy planning. 
 
 
John also specializes in consulting clients on the best possible options using solar, energy auditing and procurement.  John has participated in solar and wind energy projects like Omega Medical, Barton’s Grand Rental Station, McCabe’s Gourmet, Made By Hand, Nantucket’s Restaurant, Ocean Landing Waste Water Treatment Plant, Ice Cream Creations, Seaside Graphics, and South Moon Under. In addition to his extensive commercial solar energy successes, John has helped numerous residential clients realize sound solar energy investments for their homes with high returns on their investment.
