Flexera Installs First Solar Installation on a Wastewater Treatment Plant in Worcester County, MD

CAMBR Company decided that a solar installation would be a very good investment to power the new waste water treatment plant they were developing to service the Walmart in Berlin, MD

After searching the region for the right solar partner, they decided that Flexera was the right fit for their investment strategy.  Flexera took a very thorough look at their goals and expectations and worked with CAMBR to develop a 70,380 DC Watt solar power system that would provide them all the power they need to operate the plant.

In addition to covering their power use, this system will be generating income to offset operating cost through the sale of SRECs in the Maryland market.  Solar power in Maryland has a very good return on investment because of the grants, rebates, value of power and SREC values.

CAMBR completed the system in June and is already seeing a higher yield on energy than anticipated.

Flexera looks forward to tracking this system's power production for this water treatment plant in order to help others realize the same return on investment.
