Solar on Garage Powers the House in Georgetown, DE

This industrious owner utilized their wonderfully south-facing garage to host their solar collectors.  The 7,200 watts of solar photovoltaic power was easily mounted on the steel roof with little obstruction from pipes and vents.  Anchoring to the rafters, this system is sound, secure, and ready to give them about 10,627 kilowatt hours of energy per year.  Factor in the likelihood of 10 Renewable Energy Credits and the savings on their power bills, this is one powerhouse of a garage.
